Camp Writting-2014
Guess what I did last week? Last week the year five and six student’s went to camp at school. I had to pack our things and put next to our tent. We had camp groups called the Care Squad the Care rings, CareTakers, Care Bears, All stars and lucky last Manaaki I was in the All stars.
My second group activity was the camp cooking. All the girls in the All stars were baking tasty cookies. And we had to get into groups and work together. The only thing we had to measure was the butter to put in or they wouldn't taste well. When we finished we had to be careful because the oven was really hot.
Our third camp activity was Table tennis,Basketball and Rollerblading. It was difficult to balance but I got it eventually. I also played on the Ping Pong table with my friends and was had fun. Everyone really enjoyed it. I was speeding.
The next morning after we had breakfast we had to get into our togs. We were going kayaking. We had to wear life vests. Me and the rest of my team had to walk down to the Pt England reserve and wait for Mr Burt . He told us that the safest way to get into the kayakwas to put your foot bum foot. When we were done we came back to school and we were eating American hot dogs.
I really enjoyed camp and I’m looking forward to next years camp. I enjoyed sleeping in the tents, camp cooking and definitely kayaking those things would totally be the three things I enjoyed the most. I hope that next time we get a bigger tent to sleep in.

Have you ever slept in school? Well on Wednesday the 12th of March the year five and six students are going to be camping at school. We will be sleeping in tents and we are going to have lots of fun.
I’m really looking forward to going to Mangere pools. Because I love swimming with my friends. And I really want to go on the slide’s with my group.
Also I’m really looking forward to is camp cooking. Because we get to cook delicious cookies and little snacks to eat. It will be really fun.
Be sure to check back on my blog as I will post more things about camp.

The four main stage's of a frog.
Do you want to know the four main stages in a frogs life? The first one is the egg then its the tadpole and the froglet the lucky last stage is a frog.
The first stage of the adults life is a egg. The adult can lay thousands of eggs. When it has been born the mother frog attaches the eggs together with jelly which protects them from getting separated. It is called spawn.
One day the little eggs will push their way out of the egg and out comes a tiny tadpole. When the tadpole is born it has no arms or legs only a tail. It has gills to help them breath under water.
The next stage of a frogs life is a froglet. The gills will disappear and it’s back legs will appear. The tail will slowly disappear and the front legs will grow. And from then on the froglet will spend it’s life on earth.
Lucky last is the adult frog. It take’s two years for them to grow into adult frog’s . That is a four main stages of a frog’s life. Then the life cycle will start all over again.
