Learning how to convert fractions.

Task: Our task was learning to convert fractions. Into mixed fractions and improper fractions. Like for example If a fraction was 12 4/8 we learnt hoe to change it into a improper fraction like this: 12 x 8 (denominator) that would equal 96 then we would add 4 (numerator) to get the answer 100 but then we have to add the denominator back to this question to get the final answer 100/8.
