Get ready the Winter season is arriving.

Winter is on it’s way which means that you have to be prepared for the worst. Students at Pt England school have been complaining about whether or not we should have school closed in winter.


Image result for winter in aucklandWinter is on its way it is arriving in Auckland, New Zealand. The Winter season is the coldest season of the year. Where there is most likely going to be hailstorms, lightning strikes and avalanches. Which means students at school have to wear extra jumpers and layers of clothes just to keep themselves warm and to protect them from storms, ice, fog or rain. This also means kids are getting more sick every day because of  the weather like getting the flu or getting a running nose.


Pt England students are complaining about walking to school in the rain. Although their parents are saying “Your going school no matter what” but their children are still complaining, saying “What? We have to walk in the rain?”. Having to walk in the rain mean getting wet shoes, wet socks, wet school uniform. Some Pt England students are being infected by the weather because they have to walk to school sometimes it’s because they have no shoes or because they don’t feel like walking to school in the rain.

Some students such as Talita at Pt England school have been saying that school should still be opened during Winter. On the other hand Lani also a Pt England student is complaining saying there should not be school but to still take their Chromebooks home. Another student Venetia has a few tips on coming to school. These are a few of her tips. Bring a umbrella to school and warm clothes, catch a ride in a taxi or phone a friend. She also has said Why it is important to come to school “ It is important to come to school because it helps you to learn and to get a good job in the future.
